Articles: Bunbury bound

Friday, July 13, 2007 - 10:16 AM, (938 Reads)

Well, some of you may have heard that Sid and I have made the decision to go and manage Alisons and Kevins business for them for possibly a year. It would be an awful pity if they had to sell it after working so hard to build it up.

We would go in as managers so Alison can concentrate on Kevs rehab. This way we can get more clients in and have it running as a viable business which should alleviate any financial worries for them both.
So we will probably go over in Sept which means that we won't be moving into Mangawhai. The people that have been renting the house as offices are more than keen to do a 6 monthly renewable lease on the property. We will have all our stuff stored up there as they don't use the garage. So it becomes a win win situation for everyone.

We think of it as an adventure and a challenge. We have told the people in Norwich that we are unable to look after the elderly lady there. Family in this case becomes the priority. So once again the Johnsons plans have been intercepted by fate.

Bring it on.

Fabulous that you two are able to help out in such a practical way -- and for such a good length of time too! Well done, and thanks for stepping in to fill the void -- the entire family will be very appreciative, I'm sure.

Talk about serendipity! It's interesting how the timing has worked out for you. What a wonderful gesture from you both and I can't think of two people more qualified to step into the breech. Alison and Kevin have set up a great little operation in a great part of Australia. When you have time off there will be lots of beautiful beaches to explore and places further afield to visit.
